Pingg, yet another online invitation startup, just received a glowing review from Techcrunch and I’m still scratching my head as to why. I’m sorry, but aside from the non-intrusive business model, there is nothing special about slapping some Arial over ridiculously cliched stock photography. Techcrunch calls it “invitations done right”, but I still think there’s something very big missing in the online invitations space.
btw, i tried madeit.com for my last party and the only good thing about it was that i was able to add a widget to the invite page. not so revolutionary.
