Check out the Simplify Your Work microsite for Office: Mac 2008. It’s a great example of using illustration and simple animation to form an emotional connection with a brand. Imagine how the experience would be different if they used stock photography of office workers “cheerfully” using the product.

    For my money, there simply aren’t enough photos of two business-suit-clad captains of industry shaking hands in an ivory tower.
